About Me

I’ve been with OYS for just over a year now and have worked in account management / customer success for 4 years. Initially within the financial services industry whilst at university before securing a graduate role at THG where my love for e-commerce and marketing grew!

I never anticipated working in Client Relations straight from university, and couldn’t tell if it was a good or bad thing I was the only graduate account manager when I started at THG! But, I quickly grew to love getting my head around all the different teams and processes that brought a website to life and there’s still nothing more satisfying than seeing all our hard work turn into revenue for clients!

More recently, I’ve been getting my head round the OYS way of working, and even after a year still learn something new every single day – I still haven’t gotten used to how fast the team here turn things around, which is one of my favourite things about working at Own Your Space!

When I’m not working, you’re likely to find me either at the gym, walking my dog, Hugo, or with my Grandma playing dominoes (a Friday tradition thanks to our 4-day working week!). I also love a night out with my girlfriends back in Manchester, and going to festivals and events whenever I can!

How do you stay updated with the latest trends in digital marketing?

I try and stay up to date in a few different ways. I’ve subscribed to a few great email channels that share tailored updates every day on all the topics I’m interested in as well as via social media (TikTok being a personal fave!)

What's your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

After a busy day I love heading straight to the gym and then getting home to cuddle my dog and watch TV! I also love a good gossip with my Mum and you can find us stuck on the phone for hours after a long day!

Do you have any hobbies or interests that people might find surprising?

I absolutely love horror films, and my boyfriend and I to try go to watch a new one every month at the cinema – when I struggle to sleep at night I think about them to help me nod off, which even I can admit is a bit strange!

If you could switch jobs with anyone in the world for a day, who would it be and why?

Adam Sandler without a doubt! He flies around the world making movies with the same people every film so I can only assume they’re his best friends – who wouldn’t love that!
